(1) Conjugate to all 7 persons and X, and translate each of the following into the subordinative mode, as if part of a narrative, using (nal)

(2) Conjugate the following verbs to all 7 persons as negatives, using (nal) =then, and translate.

(5) use the preverb li- to form subordinative phrases:

I slept until he came.
I went to town by walking.
She worked until John went home.
I worked until you went home.
Then I somehow fell asleep in my bed.
Then we somehow crawled inside the house.
(6) Accent shifting practice.
pumúsuw he walks; alúmsuw he leaves; wulamalúsuw he feels good.

Then he wanted to walk.
Then he walked.
Then he left.
Then he wanted to leave.
Then he felt well.
Then he felt very well (ahwi- pv )
